A price range is not an average, prevailing sale price, legal valuation minimum or verified present-day supplier quotation. For medication imports, regulatory permissions must be assessed separately.

Minimum Evidence Checklist For An AD Bank Import File

1. Match HS classification (including Bangladesh 8-digit line), goods description, model/part number, grade, condition, brand and technical features.
2. Prefer dated manufacturer quotations, independent comparable supplier offers or an exact, transparent published item price.
3. Identify origin, producer, quantity breaks, period and currency; retain the original official URL/PDF, retrieval date and source reference.
4. Normalize Incoterms (EXW/FCA/FOB/CFR/CIF), insured value, freight, duties, discounts, spare parts, services, warranty and installation before comparing.
5. Use HS6/HS8 aggregate trade unit values for contextual outlier screening only; investigate product mix and redacted quantities rather than treating averages as market prices.
6. Record transaction rationale, comparison limitations and escalation where documentary evidence is insufficient. Regulatory compliance and customs valuation are separate determinations.

Verify A Bangladesh Import Price

Use the published benchmark definition as a reference for selecting comparable evidence, not as an unlicensed price quotation. Check the quotation date, exact goods description, HS code, chemical composition or grade, origin, FOB/CFR/CIF basis, freight, insurance, duties and exchange rate before comparing an invoice.

No price is represented as a current shipment-specific quotation, grade-adjusted price or Bangladesh landed CIF value.
