Trade Finance BD is free for every visitor. This notice explains what the portal stores. It does not describe a paid plan.
Information we collect
When you register, we collect your name and the email address or mobile number you provide. We also retain submitted search questions and records of signed-in visits to operate the portal, review answers and improve the service. Please do not submit confidential customer information, account numbers or transaction documents in public searches.
How your information is used
Contact details support visitor access. Authorised administrators can review visitor and search records. Search questions may be processed by the portal’s search and AI services to prepare answers. Your name and contact details are not included in visitor-authentication requests to AI providers.
Cookies and saved data
The portal uses cookies to keep you signed in and may save public resources on your device for offline use. Visitor sessions last up to 90 days. Signing out clears the current session but does not immediately delete retained records.
Retention
Search records are retained for up to 90 days. Inactive visitor records are removed after 365 days when scheduled cleanup runs.
Browser-based preparation tools
The LC financing cost comparator and document checklist process inputs in page memory. Their own code does not transmit inputs to a server or save them between visits. These two tools are excluded from the optional public-page analytics tag.
Analytics and advertising
Public pages use Google Analytics to measure visits and may use Google AdSense advertising services. Google and its partners may process device and browser information, cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers for measurement and advertising. The analytics tag excludes names, contact details, search questions and transaction inputs, and does not load when your browser signals Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Private workspaces and transaction tools are excluded from this analytics tag.
Optional Google Analytics starts after you select Allow analytics on a measured public page. You may change this choice using Analytics privacy. Advertising consent is separate: allowing analytics does not authorize personalized ads. If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors including Google may use advertising cookies based on visits to this and other websites, subject to applicable consent requirements. See the advertising policy.
Read how Google uses information from partner sites or manage your preferences at My Ad Center. You can also control cookies and saved site data through your browser settings.
Contact and privacy requests
Use Contact & Corrections for access, correction or deletion enquiries. Do not send passwords, OTPs, customer documents or account numbers. Signing out does not itself delete retained records.
Read the terms of use for the scope of the guides and tools.
